Born and raised in San Francisco, Ethan Defender owns a veterinary practice in the city. In his early twenties, Ethan was rising quickly within the world of boxing, thought to be approaching professional status, but quickly changed paces, opting to open his practice instead. He owns three german shepherds and isn't close to his family, particularly after the loss of his brother when Ethan was only sixteen. 

  His friends describe him as a "kind, hard-working, loyal person". Whilst on vacation with his three closest friends, Ethan bumped into a feisty, short-tempered Denver in the hotel gym, and a relationship quickly developed.
