The daughter of Nico DeLuca and Cara Gallagher, Denver's upbringing was far from normal. Born and raised in San Francisco, California, Denver's father ran the city's criminal underworld, known for being a ruthless and successful gangster. After the loss of his wife, Nico raised Denver alone, and was a doting and protective father.       When Denver was twenty-one, Nico died in a car accident, and in his will, he requested she, and all DeLuca businesses, be placed under the care of his business partner and protege, Ranger Luxe. 

  At Ranger's insistence, Denver's surname was changed to Luxe. The media fascination with Ranger Luxe's newest companion grew quickly. Intrigued by her links to Ranger, her fashion, and romantic choices, the internet became obsessed with Denver Luxe, and the nickname Deluxe was born. 

  Denver later married an employee of Luxe Industries, Wyatt Ledger. Shortly after the loss of their infant son, Wyatt was killed in a carjacking.
